Laundry Renovations

New Laundry, Designed and installed

In a new build, laundries often get fitted with a steel trough/cabinet unit and maybe a linen cupboard if you’re lucky. This room often facilitates so many different purposes and it’s generally not sufficient for one. Everybody uses their laundry differently, but the same need is echoed throughout – “we need more storage”. When designing your laundry, we listen to how you use this room and design the cabinetry to suit your needs, we work out the best use of space and deliver a room that make you want to wash, dry and fold everyday… maybe not, but it certainly helps.

Laundry Designs and Inspiration.

Laundry renovations can offer ingenious storage solutions, accessibility options as well as an aesthetically beautiful room. We often increase the size of the worktop to elevate the functionality of the laundry. A great resource for inspiration aside from our portfolio page is Pinterest. This is always a good start to gather ideas for any renovation.

Laundry finishes and storage solutions

There is an amazing range of benchtops available in today’s market. You need to consider your budget, lifestyle, the look you would like to achieve and of course the care and maintenance. The most popular benchtop finishes are

  • 0 % Silica Engineered Stone
  • Granite and Quartzite
  • Marble
  • Porcelain and Sintered
  • Solid Surface
  • Laminate
  • Timber

Splashbacks have a very functional purpose but that doesn’t mean they can’t be fun

  • Tiles
  • Glass
  • Stone
  • Porcelain

This area is a great way to introduce colours or patterns if you’re feeling brave and are a great opportunity to elevate your design, tiles can create texture and warmth when paired with minimalist joinery, whereas glass is preferred for its ease of cleaning.

Stone and porcelain on the other hand is the best of both worlds with the bonus of being the epitome of luxury. We have an extensive range of choices in our selection studio as well access to multiple local suppliers to get the best result for your home.

Laundries house both dirty and clean clothes, are sorting spaces for our washing and can be where we iron and fold, with so many activities to facilitate, a considered design is imperative for an efficient laundry

  • Clothes airers
  • Hanging rails
  • Integrated laundry baskets
  • Integrated ironing boards

Using the space to its maximum potential is our specialty, we can turn a once bare room into a laundry of innovation and hidden gems.

Pull out clothes racks to dry your delicates or hanging rails to hang up your freshly ironed shirt are just a couple of ideas to get you started with your laundry design.

For too long washers and dryer positions in the home have either been sat on the floor or hung upside down on the wall. For many people that may not be ideal placement due to physical restrictions or mobility issues. We have many options for placement, custom cabinetry and even include pull out shelves to hold washing baskets or added workspaces. Elevating your whitegoods is kinder on your back and a simple solution to incorporate added storage.
